Should a conversation be deemed by Council to be of a slanderous nature, Council reserves the right to remove the entire thread and block those who raise the issue again. Council will block users who have already had one inappropriate post removed and make a second such post. If a comment is made which threatens violence of any sort, the user will be blocked from our page immediately and the threat will be reported to the police. During Elections The Thames-Coromandel District Council's Facebook page must not be used for electioneering purposes. Any post - positive or negative - made by any individual specifically relating to their own - or someone else's - nomination, intention to run for Council or election campaign, will be removed immediately; and the writer blocked for the duration of the election period.
