The Whangamata Hall is open & operating under COVID-19 Delta Level 2 restrictions.

Whangamata Community Hall

COVID-19 Delta Level 2 restrictions:

- Limit of 50 people

- Anyone entering the Hall must sign in  by scanning the QR code (strongly preferred method) or using another contact tracing mechanism

- Wearing of face masks whilst inside the Hall is mandatory. Note: if the Hall is being used for physical activity e.g martial arts, then you don't need to wear a face mask whilst exercising

- Maintain social distance of 2 metres

- Do not intermingle with other groups that may be using the Hall at the same time

- Use hand sanitiser and disinfect touch points (door handles etc) upon exit

  • (fire safety wardens are required for bookings which will have more than 300 people)
  • Tiered seating for 193 is available in the Auditorium only.  Tables and chairs to seat approximately 200 people is also available.

Internet/Wifi is available at Whangamata Hall - please request code at time of completing application form.

Events with amplified music are subject to specific noise control conditions.

  • Full kitchen facilities available (oven, dishwasher etc.) 
  • There is a large car park adjacent to the hall.
  • There is a foot operated hand sanitising station installed in the foyer
